...Pledges Support for Obi
...Condemns Enugu NDC for Imposition of Candidates
Nnamani, a hardcore Obidient, berated the way and manner some APC moles, opportunists, and money bags infiltrated the Enugu State Chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) - where he earlier intended to contest for election - in the last few weeks hijacking the party structure and imposing candidates who were neither Obidients nor believe in Mr. Peter Obi's philosophy, for the most elective positions.
Nnamani revealed that, unbeknownst to many, he "quietly" left the NDC and joined the PRP when he noticed the handwriting on the wall shortly after joining the NDC with his principal, Mr. Peter Obi, in early May 2026; stressing that most fellow NDC aspirants, unfortunately, were not so lucky as they fell victim to these high-powered manipulations in the Enugu NDC.
Nnamani noted that these APC moles are in two categories: the first were those sponsored by the ruling party to cause division within the party, while the second are "desperate" politicians and stakeholders who want to leverage on the Obidient movement to secure positions for themselves as they know that no normal human being will vote for the APC in the coming election.
Asked if it does not amount to an anti-party activity leaving his own party's Presidential candidate, Mr. Donald Duke, to work for Mr. Peter Obi's Presidency, Nnamani responded: "All politics are local and if you are sensitive to your people as a leader you will have to listen to their heart beats." Warning that one of the tragedies of bad leadership is underrating the power of the people you preside over. He recalled that in Chinua Achebe's Arrow of God, the protagonist and Chief Priest of Ulu, Ezeulu, underrated the power of his people and paid dearly with his life.
Nnamani believes that Enugu people are all Obidients and want Mr. Peter Obi to be their President; therefore, working against him will amount to swimming against the tide.
Asked if running in another party other than Mr. Obi's NDC will jeopardize his chances in 2027, he replied in the negative, saying, "Most Obidients have vowed not to vote from 'Top-to-Bottom' again in 2027 having learnt their lessons in 2023 when those they voted for in Labour Party later decamped to the APC abandoning Mr. Peter Obi and the movement," stating that what matters most is credibility and acceptability and not the party one chooses to run with.
He, however, admitted that this decision was not from the Obidient leadership but from concerned individuals who are labourers in the political field and since all politics are local, "the people themselves know what is best suited for them," he concluded.

What a great move. Congratulations on your emergence as the PRP party flag bearer
