jonathan
The All Progressive Congress (APC) has revealed that President Jonathan paid 8 billion Naira to governor Peter Obi of Anambra state to swing the recent gubernitorial election in the state. This was revealed Wednesday morning in Oyo by APC’s Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. The APC accused President Jonathan of using monies from the Ecological Fund to dispense favour to his cronies.

The party accused President Goodluck Jonathan of using the Ecological Fund, set up to address the country’s serious ecological problems, as a tool to further divide the ranks of the nation’s Governors and solidify his reputation as a partisan and sectional leader.
APC’s Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said President Jonathan’s decision to grant 2 billion Naira each to 17 states, none of which belongs to the main opposition APC and all of which are controlled by Governors deemed to be Jonathan’s supporters, negates what he should be: The leader of the whole nation!

Unbelievable! Woman whose father was a ghost, got married to another ghost.

Before now, chilling stories had been told of individuals who continued to experience life even after their clear deaths. The Yoruba call them Akudaaya. To the Hausa, they are Satalwa. Time after time, there were stories of how the dead, who were supposed to be six feet under the ground, would still stick around on the surface of the earth and lead lives as normal, regular human beings albeit in faraway places where their chances of bumping into either families or acquaintances who had previously bade them goodbye from this world are virtually zero.
Many have dismissed such stories as fictions, hallucinations or fabrications, but the recent experience of a 20-year-old Taiyelolu Abdulrahman, whose father, who died almost 20 years ago, nurtured till she was married to another dead or “ghost” husband, is lending credence to such weird developments.

Information reaching my blog now shows that the anti-apartheid hero and former South African President, Nelson Mandela is dead. He died at the age of 95. For over a year now, Mr Mandela, has been seen in and out of hospitals due to a recurring lung infection disease.
Sometime in May 2013, some media were awash that Madiba (as he is called in his local name) has died, however, the rumor was quickly debunked by the current South African President, Jacob Zuma, who maintained that the father of modern South Africa was alive, though critically ill.

Abuja: A City With Many Fakes

When the military in the 1970s created Abuja, they wanted a city that will represent the new Nigeria, which they hoped to nurture; a city devoid of the congestion of Lagos, the then capital of Nigeria; a city with good roads network, good and well planned housing schemes and settlements; a city that will be the seat of the Federal Government, while others remain the seat of other governments; a secured and protected and fortified city. Abuja was to be the paradise.
