Exposed: DORO is a female god!

Many of us are mesmerized by the lyrics of music that we seldom listen to its wordings and find out its true meanings.

Today we all nod and dance to the lyrics of 'Dorobucci,' a recently released album by the Marvin Records Crew, without knowing what and who we are pledging allegiance to. Some are even attaching their names as suffixes to Doro, just like the singers did, eg. Dorojazzy, Dorotiwa, Dorosid, etc.

But the question is: What is Doro?

After reading this piece, kindly pick up your phone or CD plate and play the song repeatedly to confirm it.

If you listen to the song attentively and analytically, you will notice that it is a gathering of all the Doro worshipers, where each of the singers were praising and extolling the beauty and potency of their god just as Christians do while singing praises to God.

Now let’s follow the lyrics:

The 1st Singer started by praising…Doro Boss, Doro Big, Doro Heavy, Doro Skillful, Doro Bloody…Doro gather pass everybody for the gathering, Doro get money pass everybody here (meaning that Doro is richer than all of them singing).

Now some people argue that Doro means 'money' or anything 'perfect' but from these last words you will know they weren't referring to money or anything perfect.

Enter the second singer: He started with a praise to their god – Doro Fresh, Doro Big, Doro Flashy, Doro Classy, Doro fine pass anybody wey doro-sing (meaning that Doro is more pretty than all of them singing).

The third singer began with praise again to their female god: Doro na Diva (Diva means a queen, female celebrity, goddess), Doro na leader (is their leader), follow the leader (encouraging people to follow her)…Doro is bigger, Doro is higher…follow the leader…Doro get liver, She no dey tire…

The Marvin Records Crew
A background chorus continued by affirming that Doro is powerful: Doro mega, Doro super, Doro star...Doro Mega Superstar.

The fourth singer started by warning of the consequences of toying with their god: Doro bad…we get money…make nobody try Doro...join Dorobucci oo (warning that no one should toy with Doro, while at the same time encouraging people to join Dorobucci).

The 5th one now explains the personality of their god: Doro is a cheerful giver, (she’s) a kind of boss, she’s a money spender…Anywhere wey Doro dey you know say wahala dey (meaning that the presence of Doro brings trouble)…Doro fly pass everybody wey dey this plane (meaning that she is a spirit and can travel faster than any human on earth).

Now these musicians have made their points in the song and every other words they added to the music is just to confuse the listeners.

As I stated earlier, they now attach their names to it like Dorojazzy, Dorotiwa etc and can use it as slangs because they all belong to it and have sold their soul to it.

Remember in Yoruba language, Oluwa means God; and in Igbo language, Chukwu or Chi means God. People use it as prefixes to their names such as Oluwabisi, Chukwunonso or Chiamaka to show their loyalty to God.

Now by joining the singers to attach your names like Dorobisi, Dorononso or Doroamaka  or use it as a slang such as Dorohammer, Dorograb, Dorocarry, you are unwittingly pledging allegiance to their god.

Again, the band leader of that musical crew, Don Jazzy, is an Igbo man. In Igbo language the word ‘buchi’ means ‘is god’. This implies that ‘Doro-bucci’ means ‘Doro is god’. Forget about the ‘buchi’ being twisted as ‘bucci’ it may just be a ploy to confuse us the more, otherwise why would they leave the pronunciation the same.

In June 2014, at the peak of an outcry by musical fans that Dorobucci may be an occultic song, the leader of the band, Don Jazzy, took to his twitter handle to reply to his critics thus:

“ol..ok, some very sad people have been sending this around. Eyaa pele. It’s things like this that make me so sure that all that illuminati crap about some yankee artistes is just BS. Lol.oh well #mavin#.

Despite this reply, it is surprising that he neither denied nor confirmed the actual meaning of the word 'Doro'.

Kindly share this information to your friends and loved ones.
