The Wuse Incident As A Prelude To October 1 Ultimatum

An Igbo adage says that, "Ukpana Okpoko buru, nti chiri ya," meaning that any grasshopper carried by a locust suffers from deafness. A locust makes noise when flying or descending on its prey and so any of its potential victim should be alert enough to escape its attack. An ultimatum has been given to Easterners living in the north and so anyone who gets killed after the said date would be said to have suffered from deafness.

In the history of Nigeria policing, anytime the police gives you report of a 'preliminary investigation', forget about the concluding investigation as well, because it will NEVER be - the matter had been concluded long before the preliminary report. And once they ask you to "go about your normal business," my brother you have no choice, just go about your normal business for the sake of your stomach, because you will wait in vain for any positive development; such is the tragic country we are living in.
