The North Korean/American War: Armageddon, World War III, or Prophecy Foretold?

The US President Donald Trump's latest warning in his UN speech that he would "destroy," the North Korea; as well as his recent tweet that North Korea "won't be around much longer," is already escalating the tension and making DPRK more aggressive than submitting.

In an apparent response to Mr. Trumps' threat, the North Korean Foreign Minister, Ri Yong-ho, in his speech at the meeting, also warned that they have the "right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of North Korea."

Since the assumption of Mr. Trump into the Oval office months ago, the existing tensions between the United States and the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea (DPRK), have escalated. The peace of the grave yard which pervaded the Korean peninsula is gradually metamorphosing into a nuclear war.

Trump had earlier warned that US will no longer maintain its "strategic patience" over the Norths' nuclear programs and that it should halt all further nuclear development, but adamant Kim' continued with its development and launch of missiles.

Recently Kim Jong-Un built and tested an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) capable of reaching US mainland (a serious concern to US government) and launched missiles across the territorial airspace of Japan, a move the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzor Abe, described as "provocative."

Kim Jong-Un has also threatened to "wipe out the United States", and has displayed computer-simulated videos of how he destroyed the State of California and the city of Washington through his nuclear strikes.

Following these threats, Vipin Narang, a nuclear scientist and professor at the Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT), cried out that "This is how war by miscalculation starts." The reason being that US frequently flies warplanes over the Korean Peninsula.

Meanwhile the Californian State is already preparing for a North Korean nuclear attack. They have urged their officials to shore up their nuclear attack response plans.

A Prophecy Foretold

Some ancient prophecies in the holy books had foretold the brutal wars that will herald the "last days" or the "end of the age." One of such is found in the book of Daniel, but only a gifted interpreter of the entire passages will be able to tell whether it's related with the current US / DPRK face-off or not.

Hear it:

"Then the king of the North will invade the realm of the king of the South but will retreat to his own country.

"Then the king of the South will march out in a rage and fight against the king of the North, who will raise a large army, but it will be defeated." - (Daniel 11: 9 & 11).

The Nostradamus Predictions

The predictions of a famous 16th century French astrologer and physician, Michel de Notredame (Nostradamus) could be puzzling and indecipherable a times. For example, I have studied his predictions concerning the World War III but couldn't decipher some of his writings; I only understand that after the rise of a third Antichrist, a devastating war will break out between the world's two superpowers that will last for 27 years.

However, from a 1981 documentary movie of Nostradamus and his predictions, titled The Man Who Saw Tomorrow, Orson Welles the narrator, explained that a "King of Terror" would rise to power and would form an alliance with Russia. This "King of Terror" and Russia would wage a World War III against the western world (United States, United Kingdom and France), starting with a nuclear strike on New York City.

The "King of Terror" would eventually be defeated in the war. Thereafter, there will be a "peace of a thousand years."

However from the predictions, analysts believe that North Koreas' Kim Jung-Un didn't fit into the description of this "King of Terror," as according to Nostradamus, the "King of Terror" who is described as "the terror of mankind", would rise to power from Greater Arabia during the late 1990s and would spread the influence of Islamic fundamentalism, along with the decreasing influence of Christianity.

With this description, many believed he was speaking of the late Saddam Hussein of Iraq, but some suggests the King of Terror would later rise from the Arabian country of Iran.

The Armageddon

The battle of Armageddon refers to a great battle that will be fought during the end times. It is the final war between human governments and Heavenly forces (God) which would bring the human rulership to end.

With this also, the Korean/American war cannot therefore be said to be the war of Armageddon.

However, I welcome all pundits, astrologers, religious scholars, eschatologists, political and war analysts and anyone in the "know" who can help us unravel the mysteries surrounding the North Korean/American war, as pertaining to the "end of the age."
