Cameron, British Evils and the Cry of a Failed Luggardian Plot

…my anger on Jonathan

It was like a re-opening of an old wound when I read an excerpt from a former British Prime Minister David Cameron’s memoir entitled ‘For the Record,’ as I remembered the role Cameron and Obama played in foisting the current disaster called Buhari on us, just because Jonathan had refused to repeal the anti-gay law he signed in.

In the part of the memoir as published by The Punch, Cameron, who was in office at the time of abduction of the Chibok girls, lamented that British troops had traced the location of some of the girls and offered to help but Jonathan refused.

Quoting copiously from The Punch, Cameron lamented, “As ‘Brink Back Our Girls’ campaign spread across the world, we embedded a team of military and intelligence experts in Nigeria, and sent spy planes and tornadoes with thermal imaging to search for the missing girls. And, amazingly, from the skies above a forest three times the size of Wales, we managed to locate some of them.”

He continued:

“But Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan, seemed to be asleep at the wheel. When he eventually made a statement, it was to accuse the campaigners of politicizing the traedy. And absolutely crucially, when we offered to help rescue the girls we had located, he refused. ”

The Denial

However, Jonathan quickly made a rejoinder where he not only denied the allegations that he refused help, but insisted he had written to Britain, the US, France and Israeli governments requesting help for the abducted Chibok girls.

In addition, Jonathan also accused Cameron of being against his government because of his refusal to repeal the anti-gay bill he signed into law, having mounted pressures on him using various envoys.

Similarly Jonathan wondered why the American first lady, Michelle Obama, will join in carrying the hashtag #Bring_Back_Our_Girls if there were no motives.

The Confusions, Contradictions and my Observations

You see, when you look at this at the periphery you might be confused on whom to believe. But when you study it critically and in retrospection, you will understand that Cameron and his allies are evil.

Inasmuch as I believe Jonathan might have written and invited theses forces to intervene, I also suspect he might have halted them mid-way when their governments, especially the UK and US, might have presented their own TERMS AND CONDITIONS to help – which might be to repeal the LGBTQ law – and which might not be acceptable for Jonathan.

Why did I say so? Jonathan might not say it exactly like this for diplomatic purposes, but remember he did say that Cameron was after him because of his anti-gay law. Again why would Jonathan invite these powerful military forces only to stop them halfway after they have located the girls?

It will be recalled that Jonathan signed the Anti-Gay bill into law in January 2014 amidst backlash from the West (including their parrot Chimamanda Adichie) while Chibok girls were abducted in April 2014.

Another dimension I am looking at, but which was not revealed too, was the strong opposition from North over the western intervention.

When the West offers to intervene, ironically the same North which has been shouting and disturbing our soul with “Bring Back Our Girls,” sent a high-powered delegation, led by the Secretary General of the Nigerian Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, to Aso Rock to persuade Jonathan to drop the idea.

You will also recall that “There is God o!” exclamation, was used to mock Patience Jonathan when she wanted to intervene in the saga but broke down in tears after seeing that those shouting “Bring Back Our Girls” were not ready for help to rescue their school girls.

My Anger on Jonathan

Now my anger on Jonathan is how he refused to take firm and decisive actions as a man having seen that the North, and their accomplices in the US and UK were planning to sabotage his government.

According to Jonathan, meetings were held at the White House and at the Portcullis House in Parliament UK, with the then Nigerian opposition All progressive Congress to disparage him, after he had signed the Same-Sex Marriage Prohibition Bill into law.

This is one revelation too many. Remember that Jonathan also received intelligence of INEC Chairman, Jega’s meeting with the opposition APC, in Dubai. Also Obama once sent his Secretary of State, John Kerry, to meet with Sultan of Sokoto and Tinubu at their residences, at the eve of the election, apparently to consolidate on their plot.

If Jonathan had signed pact with Russia’s Vladimir Putin, Buhari wouldn’t have been in power by now. When Obama blocked all avenues for Jonathan to buy weapon, it was just a little purchase of Russia’s T72 Tanks – an old soviet’s built tank for that matter – that nearly decimated all the Boko Haram in the Northeast. The Tanks withstood explosions by Boko Haram.

Okay, now, that Jonathan is out and Buhari is in… is David Cameron aware that the Buhari they gave us is worse than Boko Haram? Is he aware that while Boko Haram RUGAD only Chibok town, that Buhari and herdsmen are trying to RUGA the entire country?

Maybe just like Lord Luggard amalgamated us without our consent, David Cameron is reeling out his failure in forcing a same-sex marriage on us too, without our consent.
