Chime, family relocates to US for 'vacation'

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State, Wednesday , commenced his annual vacation which he is expected to spend in United States.
The State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Chuks Ugwoke who announced this at the end of the State Executive Council meeting chaired by the Governor, said that the state Deputy Governor, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi would act as governor during the governor’s absence.
He was however silent on how long the governor’s vacation would last.
“The Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Sullivan Chime has commenced his annual vacation with effect from today the 18th day of June 2014,” the commissioner said.
He said that  Chime announced his vacation to the people of Enugu State and members of the council during the council’s meeting.
The vacation, according Ugwoke, will take the Governor and members of his extended family to Miami in the United States of America.
